Job Description
The Cabinetmaker, Woodworker, and Finisher will join a skilled medium-sized team dedicated to crafting both custom furniture and mass production projects. This role involves hands-on work using traditional hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and spray finishing equipment, delivering high-quality wooden products with an emphasis on fine detail and durable craftsmanship. Occasional travel to client sites or workshops may be required to support project completion and quality assurance. ResponsibilitiesAssemble cabinets and other furniture pieces accurately and efficientlyPerform detailed woodworking, including cutting, shaping, and joining materialsApply finishes to wood surfaces, ensuring smoothness and durabilityPrepare raw materials and components for assembly and finishingInspect finished products for quality and compliance with specificationsMaintain and service tools and equipment to ensure optimal operationRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide productionRepair and refurbish damaged furniture components as neededManage inventory to ensure sufficient supplies and materials are available Required QualificationsMinimum of 4 years experience in woodworking Preferred QualificationsProficiency in woodworking, cabinetmaking, and wood finishing techniquesExperience reading and interpreting blueprintsSkilled in using both hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityEffective time management skills to meet deadlinesProblem solving abilities to address technical challenges
