Bilingual Customer Service Job Description Position Overview Communicates with customers on quotes, orders and general business matters. Coordinates customer shipping requirements with manufacturing, and assure correct products and quantities are shipped to customers. Position Responsibilities: Manage incoming phone callsIdentify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfactionUnderstand and follow company policies and ISO proceduresProcess orders, work orders and quotes in our ERP SystemCheck purchase orders for correct pricing and delivery, contacts customer when neededProvide delivery and tracking information to customer when neededSupport shipping department on occasions to locate freight or schedule a pick up that has been delivered to wrong locationCheck all purchase orders to ensure accuracy upon entryServe as liaison with sales, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and shipping personnelHandle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolutionKeep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documentsFollow communication procedures, guidelines and policiesAid accounting on collection of some accounts Position Requirements Excellent written and oral communication skillsAdvanced software/computer skills and knowledge (Excel and Word)Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service RepresentativeStrong phone contact handling skills and active listeningMust be detailed oriented, well organized and an ability to multi-task to meet critical deadlinesCustomer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of charactersTwo (2) years or more of experience in a customer service, shipping/receiving, material planning, or similar role within a manufacturing settingDegree in Business Administration, whether Bachelor, Associates, or equivalent is highly preferredAbility to retain critical knowledge of customer web-sites, portalsFully bilingual English-Spanish Qualifications/Skills: High attention to detail.Strong sense of time organization and urgencyAbility to work independently and within a teamGood communication and interpersonal skillsCapable of perform repetitive tasksAbility to perform tasks involving moderately heavy objects Work hours: Monday through Friday 8am – 5pmOvertime, weekends, and holidays may be required dependent on the needs of the business Benefits This is a non-exempt position, company payroll practices every ThursdayCompetitive benefits package:Medical and dental ($100 deductible),401k with 100% company match up to 5%,Safety shoe reimbursementCompany paid holidays, birthday pay,Paid Time Off Critical features of this job are described above.
