We are currently seeking a candidate for the 3rd Shift Pellet Mill / Systems Operator role in our Laurinburg, NC facility.Job SummaryThe Systems Operator will operate, set up, and adjust all machines and equipment in a computer-controlled manufacturing system.Essential ResponsibilitiesSystems OperationsPerform a variety of associated functions to maintain continuous operation of the system and to ensure conformance to production and quality standardsMonitor instruments to ensure proper production conditionsRegulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations, as directed by supervisory personnelDraw samples of products and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and to ensure that standards are metRecord operating data such as process conditions, test results, or instrument readingsConfer with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product qualityQualityMaintain and verify that all current quality assurance measures are being followed and communicated to supervisors, production employees, office personnel, and customers.Assist in the implementation of new procedures as neededSafetyOperate equipment as per the SOP, following directions as providedKeep work area clean and organizedUtilize all of the required PPE as required by the task being performed.
