This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.Schedule appointments accurately using Blueprint software, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily workflows.Verify patient insurance information and gather necessary documentation for billing purposes.Maintain detailed and organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment reminders, follow-up instructions, assist with hearing aid pick up and drop off.Support clinical team members by preparing exam rooms, managing inventory of medical and hearing aid supplies, and handling administrative tasks as needed.Respond promptly to patient inquiries via phone or email, providing clear information or directing them to appropriate resources.ExperiencePrior experience working in a medical or hearing health care office setting is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical notes and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.Proven ability to support medical administrative functions such as scheduling, billing, and maintaining patient records.Familiarity with office equipment and software systems used in healthcare environments.Experience working specifically within a private practice audiology office is a valuable asset but not required; a background in general medical offices is also beneficial.Excellent organizational skills combined with a friendly, professional demeanor that enhances patient interactions.
