Transportation Solutions Specialist

RGL Logistics is looking for a Full Time Transportation Solutions Specialist to join our Transportation team. This role is responsible for supporting the daily execution, growth, and performance of RGL’s transportation brokerage services through strong customer communication, carrier relationships, market awareness, and a high level of ownership.The ideal candidate is proactive, accountable, and results driven. The Transportation Solutions Specialist should be comfortable supporting both our customers and carriers and is comfortable making outbound calls, building relationships, solving problems, and taking ownership of results. This person brings urgency to daily execution, takes ownership of issues through resolution, and understands that success in transportation requires strong communication, sound decision-making, and the ability to build trust with both customers and carriers.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with teammates, customers, prospects, and carriers.Support customer relationships through proactive communication, service execution, issue resolution, and industry awareness.Engage in meaningful customer and industry conversations to better understand transportation needs, market challenges, and opportunities for growth.Provide exemplary service and solutions for RGL’s current and prospective customer base to support earning the right to grow with them.Source capacity solutions for available freight using RGL systems, industry tools, carrier relationships, and market resources.Skillfully negotiate and quote transportation rates with carriers and customers in alignment with organizational goals.Demonstrate proactive, professional communication via phone, email, and face to face with internal teammates, customers and carriersUse phone activity, timely follow-up, and clear communication to drive daily results.Contribute to a team culture built on accountability, urgency, continuous improvement, and shared results.Qualifications:A team player who can shift gears quickly to support changing business needs.Strong desire to deliver results and contribute to a high-performing team.Transportation, logistics, brokerage, or supply chain experience preferred, but not required.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required; experience with transportation-related software preferred.Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High initiative with the ability to take ownership without waiting to be asked.Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.Willingness to ask “What If” by challenging assumptions, looking for better solutions, and contributing to continuous improvement.Core Competencies:Work Safe, Live SafeTreat Everyone with Dignity and RespectAct with Honesty and IntegrityContinuously ImproveBe AccountableRGL offers competitive benefits and a 401k with a company match.
