JOB DESCRIPTION: The Concrete Operations Manager oversees the field superintendents, fleet, equipment, yard, training and safety program. This position is responsible for supervising the projects and field teams for financial success by closely managing the field team, vendor, sub-contractors to ensure schedules and budgets meet or exceed expectations. The Operations Manager ensures that quality work is being done to ensure client satisfaction is high. Additional responsibilities are all-encompassing of the total supervision and training of all the field operations on the site to ensure that the workers are implementing what is designed, projects are completed on time, and that safety and company standards are met promoting a culture of safety and ethical behavior among field staff. Operations Manager works hand in hand with the General Contractors, Estimators, and Project Managers to ensure accurate and timely sequencing of the project. The operations manager oversees and coordinates daily with the Superintendents and Project Management for scheduling as well as successful project communication and execution. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct training and development meetings to coach managers and foreman Read, comprehend, and interpret blueprints/drawings Notify on time for any changes / client request that requires Additional Work / Changes Orders Manage/Inspect all work, elevations, anchor bolt location, and layout – daily Calculate, schedule, and order material quantities needed for your project Ability to set up and use laser/optical surveying equipment and survey rods Ability to read a "linker rod" and read elevations in 10ths Review drawings and scope of work with the field team Follow the plans, specs, schedule, and quote for each of your projects Double-check elevations, forms, pour plan and hardware prior to the pour Maintain a safe, professional, and organized job site at all times Assist in scheduling city inspections, material testing, and quality inspections Manage hourly employee activities and hours REQUIREMENTS: OSHA 10 and CPR First aid certified Pass physical exam Implement and enforce all company policies Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds Must be able to drive a truck Must be able to be on their feet approximately 8 hours a day EXPERIENCE: Must have expertise in Concrete and Shoring trade Minimum of 3-5 years of construction/management experience Skilled at reading drawings/blueprints Bilingual (Spanish/English) Valid CA driver's license and legally able to work in the USA Job Type: Full-time Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Ability to Relocate: Gardena, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
