Barista

*J&J Java is now hiring a part-time barista! We are a coffee roasting company with a coffee shop located on Lane Community College main campus. We prioritize crafting quality drinks while fostering relationships with our customers. We are looking for someone who loves coffee, working with others, and chatting with customers. * Currently, we are specifically looking for someone to fill the afternoon/closing shift. We need someone available Mondays-Thursdays from 12:30pm to 4:00pm. Job duties will include -fostering quality interactions with customers -crafting beverages and taking care to do it well -keeping a clean work area -cash handling/using a POS system -closing cleaning duties such as espresso machine, grinder, counters, floors and dishes, etc. Due to the nature of our location on a college campus, we unfortunately cannot offer work for the summer months (mid June to late September), so this job is a seasonal offering late september-mid June. We follow LCC’s academic calendar, which means most holidays are off as well as breaks between terms (such as spring break, winter break).
