Job Description Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Panel Builder to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong electrical knowledge, attention to detail, and hands-on experience building industrial control panels.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and enclosuresRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawingsInstall and wire components such as PLCs, VFDs, relays, breakers, power supplies, and terminal blocksPerform point-to-point wiring and labeling to industry standardsTest panels for functionality, continuity, and compliance with specificationsTroubleshoot wiring issues and make necessary correctionsMaintain a clean and safe work area following safety proceduresCollaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managersDocument work completed and report any issues or material shortagesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)2+ years of experience in electrical panel building or related electrical workAbility to read and understand electrical schematicsFamiliarity with industrial control components and wiring standardsProficient with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with PLC systems and automation controlsKnowledge of UL 508A standards (or similar)Experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsElectrical certification or apprenticeship experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsLift up to 50 lbsPerform repetitive hand and arm movementsWork EnvironmentManufacturing or workshop settingMay involve exposure to noise, dust, and electrical equipment
