Room Attendant

The Benson Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking high-energy and dedicated Room Attendants. Hotel experience is preferred and excellent customer service skills a must! We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting and working on a professional and friendly level. This is a full time or part time, union position. Qualified candidates must be dedicated, focused and have excellent customer service skills. The ability to work independently with high productivity, have a positive attitude and be flexible with job demands is a definite +plus. Job Responsibilities: Clean guest rooms Make beds, vacuum, clean glass and bathrooms Keep housekeeping closets organized and clean. Delivers products to departments, if needed. Other duties as needed. Requirements and Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments Ability to work in a cooperative manner as part of a team Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance Must be available to work a flexible schedule. Physical Requirements: Walk or stand up to 8 hours per day Must be able to lift and push/pull 75 pounds. All mobility motions are required (standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing) Pre-employment drug screening and background check are required.
