The incumbent may occasionally be asked to work from the office or remote worksites on an as-needed basis.Here’s What You Will DoAs an Auditor, you will develop, evaluate, lead, and perform multiple and diverse performance audit programs to monitor and regulate the workers' compensation industry, and ensure public funds are disbursed properly by reviewing payroll and financial records. On-site and virtual remote audits, ranging from simple to complex, are conducted at claims processing locations. You will also act as a resource to the workers' compensation industry, providing training and consultation relating to workers' compensation issues.For a complete listing of the duties and responsibilities of this position, please review the position description.Minimum QualificationsHere’s what you need to qualify:Four years of experience doing administrative research that included compiling and evaluating facts to recommend management action, or decide compliance with program guidelines and regulations. The assessment will be based on the relevant experience, education, training, and certifications documented in the application materials. On average, candidates new to state service will most likely be offered compensation in the lower to mid-level of the salary range.The salary range listed is the non-PERS eligible rate. If you are already a participating PERS member or once you become PERS eligible after 6 months of employment, the salary range will increase by 6.95% and the required 6% employee retirement contribution will be deducted from your pay.The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
