Be able to perform diagnosis, repair and replacement of automotive parts and accessories according to technical certification and skill level.Job Responsibilities:Perform work as outlined on repair order accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standardsDiagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairCommunicate with parts department to obtain needed partsExamine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is needed or requiredNotify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.Document work performedRoad-test vehicles when required or refer to the lead technician for assistance.Service Technician / Mechanic - Requirements:Team PlayerWillingness to go the extra mile for customer satisfactionWillingness to learn the brandHave a valid driver's license and reliable transportationWorking knowledge of shop equipmentVolvo experience preferred
