Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (AWS)Location: Downtown Houston, TX (100% Onsite – 5 days/week)Duration: Long-term ContractWe are seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable AWS infrastructure supporting AI, Data Science, and enterprise application platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and cloud platform reliability.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Develop, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar toolsIntegrate security and compliance controls into deployment pipelinesSupport Kubernetes-based container platforms and cloud-native applicationsAutomate deployments using Python, Bash, and Shell scriptingTroubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, networking, and deployment issuesMentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practicesRequired Qualifications5+ years of AWS Platform/DevOps Engineering experience5+ years of Terraform (or CloudFormation) experience5+ years with GitHub and/or GitLab5+ years supporting Kubernetes and containerized environmentsStrong Python, Bash, or Shell scripting experienceLinux/Unix administration experienceExperience building and supporting CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of AWS networking, security, and cloud architecturePreferredAWS CertificationExperience automating compliance integrations within CI/CD pipelinesWork Environment100% onsite in Downtown HoustonOccasional travel to the West Houston office may be requested
