Specific shall include, but are not limited to the following tasks:Coaching the varsity dive & swim team.Coordinating with administration to hire assistant coachesDirecting and supervising assistant dive & swim coachesManaging all aspects of the program including practicing, competing, providing off-season improvement opportunities to include strength and conditioning and full usage of contact daysMarketing and promoting the dive & swim programCoaching, guiding, and providing feedback to student athletesScouting opponentsManaging a fiscally sound budgetMonitoring class schedules, grades and student-athlete academic progress, and intervening where appropriate.Responsible for dive & swim student-athlete retentionArticulation with the feeder middle school program, if applicableProviding summer camp opportunities for elementary and/or middle school students
