That is why we are dedicated to protecting and caring for vision every day.We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Ophthalmic Scribe to support our physicians and help deliver an outstanding patient experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.Position SummaryThe Ophthalmic Scribe assists physicians by preparing patients and exam rooms, performing diagnostic testing, documenting patient encounters in real time, and supporting overall clinical flow and patient care. Travel between clinic locations and/or overtime may be required based on operational needs.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesPerform and document ocular testing including refractions, lensometry, tonometry, visual fields, OCTs, topography, Amsler grids, muscle testing, pupil exams, and related diagnostics.Prepare patients for examination and assist with patient flow.Accurately scribe patient visits, treatment plans, and physician discussions.Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.Prepare exam rooms, maintain sterile technique, and coordinate testing and surgical needs.Communicate physician instructions to patients and referring providers.Assist with patient calls, pharmacy requests, and general clinical support.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceMatching 401(k) planPaid Time OffPaid holidaysEmployee discountCertification reimbursementCareer growth opportunities About Sight360We've assembled highly capable and credentialed multidisciplinary teams across ophthalmology, optometry, and optical retail services to deliver a comprehensive, 360-degree approach to vision care. RequirementsQualificationsMinimum of one year experience working as an ophthalmic scribeAbility to navigate EHR software systemWorking knowledge of ophthalmic and medication terminology, equipment and CPT and ICD-10 codingWorking knowledge of basic Ocular anatomyCertification preferred by not requiredSkills and AbilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyProven quality experience as demonstrated through historical work/achievementsExcellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skillsHighly developed organizational skills; comfortable working under time sensitive deadlinesAbility to manage multiple prioritiesMust be proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, and Word
