The successful candidate will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care in diverse settings.Key Responsibilities:- Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients with various physical, developmental, or emotional conditions- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic activities and exercises tailored to individual needs- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any significant changes to supervising therapists- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and home programs- Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and standardsSkills and Qualifications:- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in California or eligible for licensure- Proven experience working as an OTA, preferably in diverse clinical settings- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team- Excellent organizational and documentation skills- Flexibility and adaptability to different work environments and patient needs- Current CPR and First Aid certificationJoin our team and enjoy the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while exploring the beautiful city of Sacramento.
