We are looking for a dedicated MRI Tech like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsAs an MRI Technologist, you will operate the MRI scanners to obtain images for use by the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today! You will perform procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretations by; or at the request of a licensed practitionerYou will exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethicsYou will demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of non-imaging procedures/skills for all age groups servedYou will perform procedures efficiently and according to the protocol for radiologic interpretationYou may need to lift patients or assist in lifting them on and off the exam table to position for appropriately for proceduresYou will need to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision to keep procedures on schedule with no deviation due to lack of technical expertise What qualifications you will need:Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology ProgramAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) requiredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technology (MRI) or registry eligibleCurrent state licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) requiredMinimum 1-3 years’ experience in MRI preferredCurrent Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required Mission Health, an operating division of HCA Healthcare, is based in Asheville, North Carolina, and is the state's sixth largest health system.
