This role is responsible for equipment installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilding at customer sites. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-directed, customer-focused, and operates with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and service capital equipment at customer facilitiesDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issuesPerform preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment rebuildsConduct equipment audits and performance evaluationsProvide on-site technical support to resolve customer production challengesDocument service activities and generate detailed service reportsMaintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and responsive serviceQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a Semiconductor, PCB or PCBA manufacturing environment, or a related industryValid U.S. driver’s licenselegally authorized to work in the United StatesStable work history with verifiable positive referencesBilingual - fluent in Mandarin. This role requires fluency in Mandarin to support effective communication with customers and vendors in Mandarin-speaking markets.Required Skills & AbilitiesWillingness to travel domestically and internationally to Taiwan no more than 30% of the time. Majority of travel is local to the west coast.Strong work ethic with a positive, solution-oriented “whatever it takes” attitudeSelf-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervisionStrong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellenceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to leverage all available resources to diagnose and resolve technical issuesProficiency with computers, including the ability to create detailed service and equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical schematicsExperience troubleshooting and maintaining PLC-controlled equipmentComfortable working around industrial equipment, chemicals, and environmental conditions typical of PCB and PCBA manufacturing facilitiesThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.Must be able to push/pull 200 lbs.Must be able to move/ manipulate equipment weighing up to 1000 lbs. with the assistance of carts, pallet jacks, equipment skates or other devices as required.Job requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, turning, and working in unusual positions requiring full body mobility.Must be able to work safely and follow safety precautions in all environments (temperature, humidity, noise, confined spaces, etc.) around potentially dangerous industrial equipment.
