Role: IAM Engineer – PingFederateLocation: Milpitas, CA (Onsite)Job Type: Contract Job Description:We are seeking a skilled IAM Engineer with expertise in PingFederate to design, implement, and support secure identity and access management solutions. The role involves working closely with application teams to enable SSO, federation, and secure authentication across enterprise systems.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage PingFederate solutions for SSO and federation.Configure and maintain SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) integrations.Work with internal and external stakeholders to onboard applications to IAM platforms.Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and federation-related issues.Manage identity providers (IdP) and service providers (SP) configurations.Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and adaptive authentication policies.Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning of IAM systems.Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong hands-on experience with PingFederate.Good understanding of IAM concepts such as SSO, federation, authentication, authorization.Experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC protocols.Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, and identity lifecycle management.Experience with API security and web services (REST/SOAP).Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Basic scripting knowledge (Java, Groovy, or Shell) is a plus.Experience with other IAM tools like PingAccess, PingDirectory, Okta, Azure AD (preferred).Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.Relevant certifications in IAM or security (preferred).Experience in enterprise-level IAM implementations.Soft Skills:Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.If you are interested, please share your most updated resume over dheeresh.vats@zodiac-solutions.com.
