Receiving Coordinator / Forklift Operator 7am-3:30 pm M-F
The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for processing all incoming shipments for the company as well as internal shipments and transfers. This position’s hours are 7am -3:30 pm, M-F, with 30 minutes for lunch, although overtime occasionally occur. The receiving coordinator must have an extraordinary attention to detail, be very reliable, and have the ability to communicate with all departments and a variety of external vendors.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Process and sort all incoming small parcel and freight for Multilink ensuring internal routing to appropriate locations.
Receive all shipments into ERP system, verifying correct color, count, product and order information.
Report RMA and N/C to quality control supervisor/coordinator.
Load/unload freight off of semi-trucks/box trucks, etc. on to dock
Assist in stocking items into warehouse as needed.
Operate powered equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Ensure all paperwork is received, matched and accounted for each day.
Keep Customer Service Reps (CSRs), procurement, quality and production management updated on any issues or discrepancies with product.
Maintain orderly work area using the 5S procedure set up.
Communicate effectively with all departments.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High School or GED may be required.
Minimum of 1 year previous shipping/receiving experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Mathematical aptitude and ability to match numbers and letters.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Demonstrated ability to efficiently implement or respond to change.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Ability to process receiving paperwork ensuring a match to purchase requests (POs) using computer keyboard or RF scanner.
Excellent attendance will be required.
Experience working in quality control in a similar environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Must be able to drive a forklift and load trucks
Work Environment:
Working in an office/warehouse environment
Working on a shipping/receiving dock
Ability to work in a 55 – 85-degree Fahrenheit work environment.
Pay rate: $18-20/hour
