Summary:The Senior Cloud Engineer is a Senior role within the Enterprise Applications Team that is critical in the support of our client’s application portfolio. This position requires proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Azure Cloud deployment, configuration, third-party integration, implementation, and support. The candidate should be self-driven and self-sufficient and will work closely within other teams within the Strategics Accounts Engineering Group and client contacts to provide high-quality operational and project support.Key Responsibilities:Support clients’ existing Microsoft Entra, Intune, Intune Mobile and M365 infrastructure, including configuration and new feature updatesResolve performance issues and complete root cause resolutionGather client requirements for configuration, customization and integration and deliver these requirements to the client’s satisfactionDesign, test and implement installation processes for upgrades and new cloud applicationsProvide clear and early communication, ensuring that all relevant parties are kept informed of progress, issues, and difficultiesDocument standard resolutions so that common issues can be resolved without requiring escalationTrain other staff members as neededWork with the client’s InfoSec Team on best practices for cloud servicesProvide support, guidance and monitoring of infrastructure and equipment related to enterprise applicationsParticipate in thorough impact analysis of all assigned application and infrastructure activities and understand the impact of work on systems and the businessEnsure applications follow security best practices using established standards such as Center for Internet SecurityAll other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree6 years of experience supporting enterprise and business applications4 years of cloud infrastructure experience with Azure4 years hands on experience with Entra, Intune, Intune Mobile, Conditional Access and M365Ability to complete root cause analysis on application-related issuesExpert problem-solving skills in multiple operating environmentsStrong organizational skills: ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlinesAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues that involve network infrastructureAbility to research new or alternative cloud application technologiesStrong verbal and written communication skills.
