We have grown to over 350 drivers and have terminal locations throughout Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.Great Benefits:Weekly payDirect DepositQuarterly safety bonusVacation, Sick & Holiday payHealth benefits after 60 daysWellness program401(k) MatchJob Requirements:Valid Driver LicenseMinimum 18 Years of ageSome knowledge of tires and services and basic mechanic experience with the ability to troubleshootOne-month experience lube and tire techBasic understanding of diesel/heavy equipmentMust have your own set of entry-level toolsNo more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 yearsNo major violations within the previous 5 yearsAbility to pass a controlled substance test for pre-employment purposesAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in whole numbersAbility to lift 50lbsMust wear steel-toed safety bootsAuthorized access to mine sitesEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Commitment to working safely at all timesMaintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirementsAssist in various maintenance department activitiesOperation of entry-level mechanical toolsTroubleshoot and make repairs to various types of equipmentLubricate moving parts on all equipmentChange oil, fuel, water, and air filtersPerform service of tires, including changing, repairing, switching & rotatingPerform minor mechanical repairs on a wide variety of company equipmentAssist with service callsAssist with general maintenance, clean-up, and other duties as assignedInput data into a maintenance software programObtain parts from stock as neededInspect equipment for structural integrity and other potential safety and maintenance problemsPerform job duties of a laborer as neededAssist other maintenance personnel when necessaryPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and must be worn as directedOther reasonable duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Work varying hours and schedulesWork overtime, as neededMaintain a current driver licenseMust be able to be insured under the company's vehicle insurance policyWork well with othersUnderstand and comply with organizational policies and procedures and all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulationsApply general rules to specific problemsApply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal formAbility to communicate information in verbal and written form and the ability to listen to and understand information and directions.Add, subtract, multiply and divide in whole numbersPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:This position requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands and fingers; and lift, carry, pull, push and/or move up to 50 pounds.This position requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, grip, speak, hear, see, climb and/or balance, bend, kneel, squat or crawl, use legs, and feet. This position requires constant climbing of stairs and/or ladders, working at elevations of 14 feet above the ground, and bending over.This position is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic and/or caustic chemicals or substances, extreme weather conditions, vibration, and equipment under pressure.The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places and risks of electrical shock.
