Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) based in Pembroke Pines, FL. The RBT will provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children, implementing individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Tasks include collecting and recording data on client progress, implementing behavior reduction strategies, teaching new communication and social skills, and supporting children with adaptive skill development. Additional responsibilities include assisting with functional communication training, participating in parent training sessions, and utilizing behavior intervention techniques in school or home environments. Qualifications Proficiency in implementing ABA therapy programs, behavior reduction strategies, and functional communication techniquesStrong data collection, record-keeping, and observational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and caregiversAbility to prioritize tasks, handle challenging behaviors, and remain adaptable in varying environmentsCertification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certificationExperience working with children diagnosed with ASD or ADHD is preferredFamiliarity with alternative communication methods, including PECS, AAC devices, or sign language, is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is advantageous but not required)CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or schools within service areas
