Night Shift Forklift Operator

*Job Summary* Join our dynamic team as a Night Shift Forklift Operator, where you'll be the backbone of our warehouse distribution operations. In this energetic role, you'll operate various types of material handling equipment—including reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts—to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and safety protocols will ensure smooth and secure warehouse functions during the night shift. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about maintaining high safety standards while handling heavy materials, this is the perfect opportunity to elevate your career! *Duties* * Safely operate forklift equipment such as reach trucks, load & unload trucks, and perform heavy lifting tasks following OSHA safety standards. * Manage inventory through barcode scanning for logistics and utilize warehouse management systems to track stock movements accurately. * Pick orders with precision using order picker and picker equipment to fulfill shipping requests efficiently. * Conduct routine equipment repairs and inspections to ensure all machinery operates safely and effectively throughout the shift. * Assist in shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and safety compliance. * Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing materials, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. * Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse operations, improve workflow efficiency, and uphold safety standards in production. *Qualifications* * Proven experience operating material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklift trucks (Lift truck), clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and barcode scanners for logistics purposes. * Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management practices, and shipping & receiving procedures. * Familiarity with OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols to promote a safe working environment. * Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and materials handling with proper technique. * Basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy; attention to detail is essential. * Previous warehouse experience or warehouse supervisor experience is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members during night shifts.
