The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures. Shifts include: M-F 1st and 2nd Shift Hourly starting wage: $18.00/hour. Prosegur offers a whole suite of benefit options. Responsibilities: Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post Give the alarm and assist in response to a fire or the emergency Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle Enforce company and client policies Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch Respond to incidents Protect everyone and everything within the limits and duties of the post One will only use reasonable force, up to and including lethal force, when necessary to protect life Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence Officers will remain on the post and wait until they have a face-to-face relief Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Monitor for irregular or unusual activity Secure facility and designated areas Enforce facility and company policies and procedures Investigate and prepare reports on incidents Qualifications: Ability to stand or walk for long periods Possess basic communication skills Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior High school diploma or GED equivalent 21 years old or older Additional Requirements: Armed Security Officers must pass the following requirements and comply with Prosegur, client, and State Law Rules and Regulations.
