About us Life Startup Essentials creates new home kits for individuals and families who are transitioning out of homelessness. We partner with social service agencies to supply housewares for their community-based programs. We are agile, fast-paced and collaborative and are looking for an energetic person to join our team! Our company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick and pack orders with a high level of accuracy. We are looking for a motivated, organized person, who has the ability to work with a team, has a strong attention to detail, and is a self-starter. Strong computer skills are a must. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Picker/Packer to join our team. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for performing various duties in a warehouse setting, including order picking, packing, materials handling, and creating shipping labels. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse environment, have good computer skills, is fast-paced, and has a high attention to detail. Duties: - Perform order picking and packing - Create shipping lables -Work independently to process and fullfill orders accurately and in a timely manner - Load and unload trucks using materials handling equipment - Operate warehouse management system to track inventory and manage orders - Assist with inventory management and cycle counting - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times Skills: - Excellent computer skills - Familiarity with order picking processes and techniques - Ability to handle materials safely using appropriate equipment - Understanding of distribution center operations - Must have the abililty to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted - Strong attention to detail - Self-starter -Fast-paced If you are a dedicated individual with the required skills and experience, we invite you to apply for this position.
