Occupational Therapist (Part-Time)

Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Salem, ORJob Type: Part-TimeShifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm (20 hours per week)Setting: Outpatient - Adults & Geriatric PopulationSpecialty: General Orthopedic and Neurologic CasesRoles & ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive evaluations to assess functional abilities, safety, and patient needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, functional mobility, upper-extremity rehab, chronic condition management, and cognitive/perceptual deficits.Provide interventions for conditions commonly seen in adult and geriatric populations, including:Stroke and neurological disordersOrthopedic injuries and post-operative recoveryArthritis, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal conditionsBalance impairments and fall riskCognitive decline or mild dementiaEducate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies, exercises, home programs, and durable medical equipment.Collaborate closely with physicians, PTs, SLPs, and other interdisciplinary team members.Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive clinic culture.Qualifications & ExperienceMaster's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programActive Oregon OT license (or eligibility to obtain)Experience in outpatient or adult/geriatric rehabilitation strongly preferredMinimum 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic occupational outpatient therapyPatient & Work Details1:1 patient sessions, 30-40 minutes eachPatient age range: 17-75 yearsNo on-call, weekend, or night shiftsBenefitsPart-Time: Paid Time Off (PTO)For more details, please reach out to me at henry.clay@protouchstaffing.com or call me on 214-831-4437.
