MVC Bootstrap Developer

Position MVC Bootstrap Developer (Contract – 11 months) – Madison, WI Requirement ID: 158573 Client: DNR Work Location & Travel Candidates must be WI residents or willing to relocate within 30 calendar days of start date. Headquarters is downtown Madison, WI. Hybrid: 60% remote, 40% in office on a weekly basis. New contractor must start onsite for a five-day orientation/onboarding. Work is limited to the United States. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain solutions and features for applications in the Microsoft .NET environment. Develop Oracle database components to support application functionality. Provide reliable and responsive support for new and existing applications as prioritized by the agency. Collaborate closely with team members and the DNR Application Architect Lead to design solutions, create development plans, and ensure effective integration. Understand the interaction between applications and services within the DNR environment and evaluate the impact of changes. Stay informed of technological advancements to continuously improve solutions, maintain alignment with agency standards, and support emerging business requirements. Translate user and process requirements into high-quality deliverables and support project goals. Own tasks and products, demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, effective communication, time management, listening, collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability. Qualifications Advanced application development experience in Microsoft .NET Framework, including MVC, C#, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Experience with Object Oriented Design and standard security methods for custom applications. Experience developing reports in Power BI. Experience creating web APIs and integrating within enterprise environments. Experience with Oracle backend databases, including designing, writing stored procedures, performance tuning, and SQL.
