Job Description: Team Lead (SOX Compliance + GRC)Location: Atlanta, GA – HybridDuration: ContractKey ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of SOX Analysts, ensuring timely and high quality delivery of all control testing and compliance activities.Serve as the primary client facing representative, leading weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance connects.Proactively engage with clients through frequent touchpoints to understand needs, address concerns, and build strong partnerships.Work handsâ€`on on key deliverables, including SOX control testing, process documentation, walkthroughs, issue validation, and audit support.Drive SOX compliance end to end, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, internal frameworks, and audit methodology.Leverage GRC platforms (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream, AuditBoard, SAP GRC) for testing, workflow management, issue tracking, and reporting.Ensure accurate and timely updates in GRC tools, maintaining data integrity, status tracking, evidence management, and audit trails.Monitor team performance, allocate tasks effectively, and provide coaching, training, and continuous development.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction.Collaborate with cross functional teams (IT, Finance, Risk, Internal Audit) to resolve issues and support broader compliance initiatives.Prepare and deliver dashboards, reports, and presentations for internal leadership and client stakeholders.Proactively escalate risks and issues with clear mitigation plans and communication.Drive continuous improvement initiatives contributing to organizational goals and compliance transformation.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, audit, or risk management.Hands on experience working with GRC platforms such as:Archer GRCServiceNow GRCAuditBoardMetricStreamSAP GRCDeep understanding of risk & control frameworks, control design, testing methodologies, and issue management.Proven experience in team leadership and client engagement.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently on deliverables, manage deadlines, and prioritize effectively.Strong analytical, documentation, and problemâ€`solving skills with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.Professional certifications like CPA, CIA, CISA are an added advantage.
