Electrical Estimator
The Estimator reports to the Pre-Construction Manager or above and is responsible for managing and developing estimating activities for the company. The Estimator may be responsible for obtaining, estimating, planning, coordinating and supporting work activities related to company projects. The Estimator may also participate in marketing efforts to obtain new clients and projects for the organization. The Estimator shall maintain appropriate relationships with customers, clients, and vendors.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to manage and review subcontractors and vendor’s bids, proposals and Bill of Materials.
Knowledgeable with construction documents, including the ability to read drawings and specifications.
Basic understanding of the construction process.
Knowledge of MS Office Programs, and computer knowledge.
Experience working with estimating software programs.
Knowledge of electrical design and engineering.
Ability to provide layout and design of electrical systems and associated cost.
Ability to take direction and complete task with minimal supervision.
Preferred Education and Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a technical field, Business Management, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Seven (7) years operational experience in estimating, with at least four (4) years of estimating large projects, and electrical trade experience.

Pay: $69,631.00 - $100,000.00 per year
