Community Work & Service Program Supervisor
Summary: The Community Work & Service Program Supervisor is responsible for developing, coordinating, and facilitating the daytime purposeful work programing for residents. This role will model and promote community values within the recovery-oriented values and supervise the purposeful crews.
Location: Mill Spring, NC
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8-5 pm

Pay: Starting at $45,000 per year and increases based on experience
Responsibilities:
Develops, coordinates, and facilities the daytime activity programming: garden, greenhouse, farm animal, community service, and woodshop crews
Supervises the Crew Leaders, daily activities, and engagement with residents
Covers Crew Leader roles in their absences
Documents, calculates, and disperses resident participation percentages
Provides Community Work & Service Orientation and safety training for residents
Attends integrative meetings and collaborates with other recovery teams members on the support and communication of residents
Maintains full knowledge of the risk level system and completion of safety documentation
Collaborate with the facilities department and Managing Director to manage repairs, groundskeeping, and supply ordering
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or equivalent relevant work experience
Experience in an organic farm setting, horticulture, caring for a variety of farm animals, maintaining farm infrastructure, basic woodworking, and basic culinary skills
Experience developing, coordinating and scheduling a variety of activities
Supervisory experience preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license and clean/acceptable driving record to be on the company car insurance
