Our Headquarters is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and is ran by Kyle Treadway-President of Kenworth Sales Company.JOB SUMMARYThe primary function of the Building Maintenance/Janitor is the general maintenance and cleaning of Building and outside lot.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESClean all exposed filing cabinets, bookcases, shelvesClean and sanitize telephonesClean and sanitize desk topsClean reception lobbyEmpty all waste receptacles & replace liners as needed including shop.Vacuum all carpeted areasClean, sanitize, polish all vitreous fixturesClean all glass and mirrorsRefill all dispensers to normal limitsSweep, damp mop, and sanitize hard floorClean and sanitize all sinks and sink fixturesClean popcorn machineRemove dust and cobwebs from ceiling areas and window sealsKeep both kitchens clean including microwaves and coffee potsOnce a month clean exterior and interior windowsMow lawn when needed (weekly minimum during growing season)Maintain/trim landscape bushes and shrubs as needed (minimum twice per year)Pressure wash building as neededBuilding maintenance as needed (light bulbs, paint touch ups, etc.)Keep parking area and landscaping free of debrisBuffing and Waxing all floors minimum twice per year.When not cleaning, maintenance person will be back up for the shipping and receiving department as well as running errands for the Service DepartmentQUALIFICATIONSAbility to read and comprehend English instructions and information. High school diploma or the equivalent. Clearly legible handwriting. Experience in Janitorial and general maintenance work.WORKING CONDITIONSThis position is physically demanding. Employee will climb stairs, climb in and out of vehicles, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees and customers. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis as well as heavier loads with forklifts and /or additional assistance will be required. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and non hazardous materials.BENEFITSWe offer a full benefits package with retirement and paid life insurance.
