Facilities Security Systems & Operations Lead

Relocation financial assistance provided to eligible candidates relocating to Colorado City, TX - subject to company terms.What this job involves: As part of our Facilities Management team, this position is responsible for leading security operations, managing security technology systems, and ensuring all security protocols are followed and documented in support of all on-site operations. This role requires technical expertise in security system programming and configuration, along with team leadership capabilities.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Technical & System Management:Programming and configuring security control systems, including adding new cameras and badge readersInstalling, testing, and maintaining CCTV systems and access control equipmentMonitoring and managing badge access systems, including user provisioning and access level modificationsTroubleshooting technical issues with security hardware and software systemsCoordinating with IT and vendors on system upgrades and integrationsSecurity Operations:Monitoring CCTVs for any suspicious activity or security breachesPerforming physical patrols around the site via vehicleRecording all activities in Daily Activity ReportsMonitoring and recording all visitors on the siteRetrieving incoming packagesReporting security concerns to the Site ManagerChecking and securing all Emergency ExitsLeadership Responsibilities:Supervising and training junior security personnel and techniciansLeading shift briefings and conducting "handover" communications with relief staffDeveloping and implementing security procedures and best practicesManaging work schedules and task assignments for security team membersSupporting Field and Repair Crews when neededConducting performance evaluations and providing coaching to team membersMinimum Requirements:3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in security operationsTechnical experience with CCTV systems, access control systems, and security software programmingProven ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot electronic security equipmentExperience with badge reader systems and access control managementStrong attention to detail and observation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPhysical ability to perform patrols and security checksIntermediate computer skills for system programming, report writing, and database managementExperience leading and developing team members#FMjobs#DCR
