About The RoleWe are looking for a Software Engineer to help build our internal technology ecosystem. This role will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our database architecture, EDI connections, API integrations, and centralized reporting platform built on top of our data layer.This person will collaborate across multiple teams—including Operations, Pricing, Carrier Procurement, Finance, and Executive Leadership—to ensure our technology foundation is stable, scalable, and aligned with the company’s long-term strategy.This role blends software integration, data engineering, and system design with a deep understanding of logistics workflows. It is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational problems with well-designed technical solutions.What You Will OwnDatabase -MySQL / BigQuery - schema design and database architectureData Pipelines - TMS webhook ingestion, RingCentral API, Salesforce API, Xero API, Bamboo API, Microsoft Graph API, DAT API, Turvo API, Slack API, SFTP knowledge, ERP integration(s) Feeding 3 projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Customer, Carrier, Operations50+ cloud run services deployed via powershell GCPTriggered by Cloud Scheduler handlingOperational workflows across various departmentsDatabase updatesReportingReporting - Automated email reports - internal and external facing capabilities + manual reporting assistanceAll automated reports pull dynamically from database to determine recipients.
