Our Opportunity The Insulation Installer will lay or replace insulation materials in buildings to control or maintain building temperature. Key duties include: Load materials, tools, and equipment on/off the truck for each job. Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems. Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines. Measures and cuts insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes. Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as needed. Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations. Ideal candidate should have: Ability to perform physical labor. Basic mechanical skills Must be able to work well in a team environment. Union Certified Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation. Related experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and calculate insulation. Sound Like You?
