This includes CAD and BIM modeling of plans, components, and connections, as well as reports needed for production and erection. The role involves coordination of architectural, civil, structural, and MEP plans, elevations, and details under the direction of senior staff.ResponsibilitiesPrepare all work in accordance with approved office processes, formats, and standardsPerform engineering analyses and calculations on assigned tasks under the direction of engineering staffPrepare required documents in CAD or BIM software under the direction of engineering staffAssist with sales prospects by developing presentations using Revit, Tekla, or other 3D modeling platformsPerform tasks accurately and on time while seeking guidance as neededManage other staff members when assigned as a Task LeaderMeet task deadlines and adhere to budgeted hoursParticipate in external and in-house seminars and training sessionsContribute to the development of in-house processes, checklists, and standardsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsAssociate degree in a technical field plus four years of relevant work or industry experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering, or in Architecture with equivalent experienceProficiency or working knowledge of CAD and BIM platforms including AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla or equivalentWork from verbal and written technical direction from senior staff while reading and interpreting technical and construction documentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsCollaborate effectively within a diverse team environment and communicate clearlyOrganize and manage time efficiently while planning and performing tasks with accuracy and attention to detailContinuously develop skills through independent learning and check own work for accuracy and qualityBasic understanding of Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam softwareInterest in learning open source programming and APIs using C# and developing in-house applications
