Classifications: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Youth Development Specialist Compensation: Starting at $19.50 per hour DOE Primary Function: Implements youth development activities in the areas of STEM, academic and physical education enrichment programs. Duties also include but are not limited to: creating lesson plans, facilitating enrichment classes, supervising youth all while being a positive role model. Qualifications: · Available Monday through Friday for our Before and/or After School Programs · Available Monday through Friday for our out-of-school programs (Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring Breaks) to meet the needs of our business · This is an in-person; year-round position · Available to attend our mandatory trainings · Reliable transportation with insurance required; ability to get to all our Club sites · Experience working with children preferred · Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems preferred · Ability to communicate with youth and peers preferred · Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth preferred · Ability to organize and supervise youth members in a safe and fun environment preferred · Can furnish proof that you are over 18 years of age · Mandatory in-person CPR and First Aid certifications current · Current TB Test · Complete the NCLB Test or Proof of 60 College Units · Ability to pass a rigorous background check Pay: From $19.50 per hour Work Location: In person
