Plant Manager

Role Description We are seeking an accomplished Poultry Plant Manager to lead a large-scale, high-volume poultry processing operation with six production lines and a workforce of approximately 560 employees. This role carries full P&L accountability for plant-controlled costs and serves as the senior operational leader responsible for safety, quality, financial performance, and organizational capability. The Plant Manager is a visible, decisive leader who sets the standard for execution, culture, and accountability—driving sustainable results in a demanding, fast-paced operating environment. Provide end-to-end leadership for plant operations, including deboning, portioning, and value-added processing. Partner with Sales and Supply Chain to execute production aligned with customer demand, pricing discipline, and volume commitments. Lead strategic and tactical decision-making across extended operating hours (22.5 hours/day). Drive world-class performance across six production lines: 3 Dark Meat Deboning Lines 2 Breast/Tender Portioning Lines 1 Dicing Line Optimize throughput, yields, labor utilization, and cost per pound through disciplined execution and continuous improvement. Ensure robust production scheduling, raw material planning, and inventory integrity across raw, WIP, and finished goods. Qualifications 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in poultry or protein processing Proven success leading large-scale operations (500+ employees) Deep, hands-on expertise in deboning and breast/tender portioning systems Demonstrated P&L ownership, cost control discipline, and performance improvement results Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across all organizational levels
