Production Wood Worker (ID 4087918)

Requirements: - Eighteen (18) years of age - High School Diploma or GED - One (1) month experience as a production wood worker to include forklift experience and using table / chop saws as well as pneumatic nail guns and staplers Employer Notes: - The ideal candidate will be a skilled woodworker, pay close attention to detail, and be a terrific team player - Employees have an ideal setting with excellent people, tools, and materials - Not a seasonal job; "year-round" labor - Prolonged periods of standing during entire shift - Indoor and not wading through mud and rain on jobsites or losing work due to weather Job Duties: - Build wood crates safely and accurately in a timely fashion reading from prints, instructions and cut lists - Follow techniques on safety, ensure quality while maintaining speed and accuracy - Assist in print reading, material cutting, and crate and pallet assembly - Occasional quality control inspections - Assist with or directly load finished items on truck for morning delivery - Consistently and accurately read prints, cut lists and tape measures - Work safely, efficiently and in a productive manner - Lift and maneuver 50 lbs. of wood, products, and tools consistently through entire shift Hours: - Full time, Monday thru Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Wages and Benefits: - $16.00 to $18.00 per hour - Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance - Paid time off for vacation and sick leave - Paid holidays after introductory period Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Are you at least eighteen (18) years of age?
