The ideal candidate must have proven experience with proper slope preparation, waterproofing systems, and precision tile installation. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a crew.Key Responsibilities:Perform full tile installations including floors, walls, showers, and wet areasExecute proper slope prep for shower pans and drainage systemsInstall waterproofing systems (e.g., membranes, pans, liners)Prepare substrates (mud work, leveling, backer board, crack isolation)Cut, set, grout, and finish tile to high-quality standardsRead and follow plans, layouts, and specificationsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized job siteRequirements:Valid DL with clean driving record.Minimum 3 years of professional tile-setting experienceStrong experience with slope prep and drainage complianceProficiency with mud work and waterproofing systemsAbility to work with porcelain, ceramic, stone, and large-format tileOwn basic tools required for tile installationReliable transportation and punctualityAbility to lift heavy materials and work on job sites for extended periodsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in high-end residential or custom workKnowledge of Schluter, Laticrete, or similar systemsBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusWhat We Offer:Steady work with consistent schedulingCompetitive pay based on experience and skill levelProfessional work environment with quality-focused projects
