If you’re passionate about building proactive safety environments—not just maintaining compliance—this is an opportunity to make a visible difference!Why This Role Stands OutBe the site safety leader with strong visibility to plant and senior leadershipOwn and elevate the safety culture in a fast-paced food manufacturing environmentDrive real change—this is not a maintenance role; it’s a build-and-improve opportunityJoin a stable, growing company with long-term investment in its people and facilitiesWhat You’ll DoLead and continuously improve all Environmental, Health & Safety programs across the plantPartner cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and leadership to embed safety into daily operationsChampion a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, and employee engagementOversee incident investigations, audits, and corrective actions, ensuring root cause resolutionDrive regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, and environmental programsServe as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and workers’ comp carriersLead emergency preparedness and response programs, including training and drillsDevelop and mentor EHS team members while influencing leaders across the siteCollaborate with other facilities to share best practices and elevate standards company-wideWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5–10+ years of EHS experience within food, beverage, or manufacturing environmentsProven experience leading EHS at the plant level (5+ years in a leadership role)Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance programsExperience with Cal/OSHAA hands-on leader who can be both strategic and visible on the floorStrong communicator who can influence at all levels—from operators to senior leadershipSalary range$110,000 - $130,000, bonus opportunity, health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, life insurance, paid time off and company holidays provided. *This compensation range reflects the company's expectations for this position at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, alignment with role responsibilities, education, demonstrated skills, and performance during the interview process.
