Integrated Prevention CoordinatorYou will serve as an Integrated Prevention Coordinator at the Office of the Chief Staff Officer of the Naval Reserve Readiness Command (REDCOM). You will identify efficiencies and make recommendations to streamline the development and delivery of primary prevention science perspectives in prevention planning. You will educate commands and units on and assess compliance with applicable policies and directives to ensure compliance. You will assist with oversight aspects of the Integrated Primary Prevention Program to REDCOM and Echelon V commands. You will advise REDCOM and subordinate leaders on prevention programs, resources, activities, and the strategic direction of prevention efforts.Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position listed under Education, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying prevention methods and techniques to evaluate, consult, coordinate, and advise on prevention program activities to include but not limited to, suicide, sexual harassment/assault, substance misuse, and family/interpersonal/workplace violence. Experience utilizing professional written communication methods and techniques, and using various automated systems and software to collect and organize data from databases. Experience composing clear and concise written reports and material. Experience providing training and education to a wide variety of audiences.
