DescriptionA growing organization in Oakland is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a high‐priority, temp‐to‐perm opportunity. This role is critical during a period of organizational growth and will bring structure, consistency, and expertise to payroll operations.This position will requires direct payroll processing experience and will partner closely with HR and internal stakeholders.Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)Employment Type: Temp‐to‐PermKey Responsibilities+ Process high‐volume payroll for approximately 700 employees+ Manage certified, multi-state payroll and prevailing wage+ Serve as payroll subject matter expert and employee resource+ Help build, improve, and document payroll processes+ Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll executionRequirementsMinimum of 3-4 years of payroll experienceHands‐on experience with:+ Certified payroll (required)+ Prevailing wage (required)+ High‐volume payroll+ ADP payroll experience (preferred)Comfortable working independently in a fast‐changing environmentStrong communication skills and attention to detailRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
