Customer Service Representative — The UPS StoreJob Overview The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to customers at The UPS Store. This position assists customers with shipping, packing, printing, copying, mailbox services, and other store-related needs. The representative also handles transactions, prepares shipments, maintains an organized store environment, and ensures customers have a positive experience. Key Tasks & Responsibilities * Greet customers and determine their needs in a friendly and professional manner. * Process domestic and international shipping transactions. * Weigh, measure, label, and prepare packages for shipment. * Pack fragile, valuable, and oversized items according to store procedures. * Assist customers with printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and document services. * Process payments and accurately operate the point-of-sale system. * Answer customer questions regarding shipping options, prices, delivery services, and store products. * Receive and organize packages and mailbox deliveries. * Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures for shipments and customer transactions. * Keep the counter, equipment, and store area clean, organized, and professional. * Handle customer concerns and resolve basic service issues courteously. * Promote additional store services and products when appropriate. * Follow safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures. * Work collaboratively with other store employees to maintain efficient daily operations.
