Job Description Job Title: Senior Informatica IDMC Consultant – Product & Vendor MDM (SaaS / Cloud ONLY) Location: Irving, TX (3 days onsite/Week) Type of Employment : - Contract Role OverviewWe are hiring a hands-on Senior Informatica IDMC Consultant to lead Product and Vendor (Supplier) Master Data Management initiatives using Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud) on IDMC.This role requires DIRECT, HANDS-ON experience with Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud).Candidates with only on-prem Informatica MDM will not be considered.We are specifically seeking candidates with proven experience using Informatica Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud / IDMC) to design and implement Product and Vendor (Supplier) mastering solutions, including complex domain modeling, relationships, and governance.What You Will OwnEnd-to-end implementation of Informatica Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud) for Product & Vendor domainsDesign and delivery of scalable, high-performance MDM solutions with a focus on operational efficiency and maintainabilityStrong data modeling ownership, including:Designing scalable product and vendor domain modelsDefining attributes, hierarchies, classifications, and taxonomy structuresModeling cross-domain relationships (Product ↔ Vendor)Ensuring models support governance, performance, and downstream consumptionBuild and manage full IDMC pipelines:CDI (Cloud Data Integration) → ingestion, transformation, large-scale pipelinesCDQ (Cloud Data Quality) → profiling, cleansing, standardization, validationCAI (Cloud Application Integration) → API-led, event-driven, real-time integrationsDesign and implement publication and distribution strategies:Configure MDM SaaS publication jobs and outbound data flowsEnable downstream consumption via Kafka, APIs, and event-driven architecturesImplement and optimize:Advanced match/merge and survivorship frameworksCross-system data consistency and synchronization strategiesException handling and error management frameworksEstablish and enforce:Role-based access control (RBAC) and security modelsData governance and stewardship workflowsDrive performance tuning and scalability across:MDM SaaS configurationsData pipelines and integrationsMatching and publication processesLead CI/CD and environment setup:Promotion strategies across environments (Dev, QA, Prod)Deployment automation and version controlEnvironment configuration and release managementTroubleshoot and resolve:Data quality issuesIntegration failuresPerformance bottlenecksNon-Negotiable Requirements (Strict)9+ years of Informatica experience with recent, hands-on Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud / IDMC)Proven expertise using Informatica Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud) for Product and/or Vendor masteringStrong data modeling experience is REQUIRED, including:Product catalogs, attributes, classifications, and hierarchiesVendor/supplier domain modeling and relationshipsCross-domain modeling and normalizationStrong hands-on experience across:CDI (Cloud Data Integration)CDQ (Cloud Data Quality)CAI (Cloud Application Integration)Hands-on experience with:MDM SaaS publication frameworks and outbound data distributionKafka or similar event-streaming platformsRole-based access control and governance modelsPerformance tuning and scalability in cloud environmentsCI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deploymentsYou MUST have:Delivered at least one full Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud) implementation (Product or Vendor) in productionHands-on configuration experience within Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud UI and services)Built end-to-end data pipelines (batch + real-time) across IDMCExplicit Disqualifiers❌ Only on-prem Informatica MDM experience❌ No hands-on work in Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud / IDMC)❌ No experience using Multi-Domain MDM SaaS for Product or Vendor mastering❌ No experience with publication frameworks or Kafka/event streaming❌ No experience with CI/CD or environment promotion strategies❌ Experience limited to support, migration, or admin-only rolesWhat Success Looks LikeYou can independently design, build, and deploy Product and Vendor mastering solutions in Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud)You design systems with performance, scalability, and operational efficiency in mindYou ensure data consistency across systems and real-time data distributionYou can handle exceptions, edge cases, and production-scale challengesYou operate across MDM + CDI + CDQ + CAI + streaming, not just one layerTech Stack (Expected Depth – Not Familiarity)Informatica Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud / IDMC)CDI (Cloud Data Integration)CDQ (Cloud Data Quality)CAI (Cloud Application Integration)Kafka / Event StreamingCI/CD + Environment Management
