Job Description We are excited to announce an opportunity for an additional urologist to join our expanding department at a highly esteemed academic medical center, closely linked with a leading medical school in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is suitable for both general urologists and those with specific interests in areas such as:Endourology: Management of intricate stone diseases, including the capability to perform percutaneous nephrolithotomy.Men's Health: Focus on surgical treatments for enlarged prostate, including holmium laser enucleation, as well as sexual health and infertility.Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery: Addressing female urinary and pelvic dysfunction.Hospital Highlights:Level 1 Trauma Center731-bed main campus facilityBrand-new main campus building, completed in November 2023Support available for H-1B Visa applicationsPosition Highlights:Become part of a vibrant urology team led by a seasoned Division Director, with support from part-time faculty and three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). One APP specializes in gender-affirming and reconstructive care, while the others are skilled in general urology.The call schedule is set at 1:4 weekly, with primary call duties managed by residents.Urologists will engage in complex surgical procedures and some inpatient consultations at the main campus, with operations extending to satellite locations. Cases needing urgent intervention from satellite sites will be transferred to the main campus. Access to five surgical robots, including four daVinci Xi robots and one single-port (SP) robot, is provided, along with available OR block time and interventional radiology support. While experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery is preferred, it is not mandatory.A competitive compensation package is offered, which includes a base salary plus a wRVU production bonus, tailored to experience.
