Job Title: Deputy Clerk Treasurer
Duties:
Performs customer service at Village Hall front counter, including answering questions, directing residents/visitors to appropriate agency or department, processing permit/license applications and payments, etc.
Prepares and coordinates payroll and other employment benefits for Village employees
Provides election support to the Clerk/Treasurer for all elections, including preparing and processing absentee ballots and voter registration, and assisting with in-person voting
Assists with a variety of financial and office tasks to support Clerk/Treasurer functions, including elections, human resources, and finance
Qualifications:
Associates/Technical degree in accounting, business, or related field and minimal experience in accounting, customer service, elections, government services, or equivalent combination of education and experience
