Pediatric Autism Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Summit Therapeutics provides quality, one-on-one, behavioral therapy for children with Autism. Summit specializes in the use of tailored clinic based ABA treatment. We believe in a natural and playful approach to ABA therapy, which has helped our clients achieve remarkable progress in learning social and life skills. Location: We are seeking RBTs in the Gainesville and Habersham County area. RBTs in this area work primarily in our Gainesville clinic off Thompson Bridge Rd. We also see clients in-home and in daycare setting in this general area. Schedule: Ideal candidate is already an RBT. Currently we are seeking RBTs who are available Monday-Friday. Clinic hours are 8:30am-5:00pm; home sessions may extend until 6pm. Compensation: $20-$22/hr based on experience to start with potential for advancement after 6 week probationary period to $23-$25/hr. Applicants must have: RBT certification or have at least already completed a 40 Hour RBT course reliable, personal transportation experience working, teaching, or living with children with special needs a high school diploma or GED patience and the ability to “play” ability to work independently ability to receive and implement feedback from their BCBA a willingness to learn ability to be consistent with attendance and attitude as this is paramount to our clients’ success CPR certification (can be completed after hire) National background check (completed after hire) A job offer will be extended after candidates have completed a 40 hour RBT course. Upon being hired, Summit will provide new hires with a competency assessment and assistance with registering to test. New hires are responsible for all fees associated with obtaining and maintaining their RBT certification.
