This position may include independent responsibility for the servicing and retention of assigned customers and/or policies.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDiscusses strategy with producer or supervisor for surety new placements;Executes a variety of bonds and analyzes bonds to ensure proper execution;Reviews client accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, and corrects account discrepancies including assisting in collections on past due accounts;Gathers information for applications for specific bond types;Submits new submissions to underwriters for approval;Researches requests for information from underwriters;Invoices all transactions, to include Over/Under runs, new bonds, endorsements, renewals, etc.;Composes correspondence to insured and/or underwriters;Creates letters, and other forms of correspondence;Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEAssociate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceOne (1) or more years related work experienceEncouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisorValid Insurance LicenseMust continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewalCompletion of one insurance classSkillsExtremely efficient organization and prioritization skillsAbility to manage high levels of workload while adhering to company guidelinesGreat problem solving and time management skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast paced environmentExcellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skillsAbility to work within a team and to foster teamworkStrong work ethicProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteIntermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
