This role is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant utility systems, including water and wastewater systems, steam and boiler systems, compressed air, fuel systems, fire prevention systems, binder systems, and HVAC.Key Responsibilities Live and uphold the OC Safety Standards and meet all required safety expectationsParticipate in safety, quality, TPM, and housekeeping programs (including Kaizen and safety committees)Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste disposal proceduresFollow all plant rules, safety regulations, and JHA requirementsInstall, operate, maintain, and modify utility systems and equipmentPerform preventive and predictive maintenance on utility systemsTroubleshoot utility systems using electrical and instrumentation knowledge and test equipmentInterpret engineering drawings, sketches, and technical instructionsProcess plant waste through wastewater systems and maintain required operating conditionsOperate ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment safelyMove equipment using powered or manual tools as requiredPerform diagnostic testing and system checksProvide relief coverage for qualified positions as neededPerform cleanup of equipment areas and workstationsPerform other duties as assigned by the area leaderQualifications & Requirements Education & ExperienceMust be 18 years or olderHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent preferredMust be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.Must be drug and alcohol freeSkills & AbilitiesAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and work independently or in a team environmentStrong customer service mindset (internal and external)Basic mathematical abilityAbility to obtain and maintain required certifications and trainingAbility to operate a computer and use SAP for data entry and reportingPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to work rotating 12-hour day/night shiftsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to work overtime as neededAbility to use hand dexterity for maintenance tasksBenefits Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHSA with company contributionHealth & Dependent Care FSAs401(k): 100% match up to 6% + 2% company contributionCompany-paid life and disability coverageVoluntary benefits (accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, identity protection, supplemental life)Paid time off & holidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Wellness incentivesEqual Opportunity Employer OCF is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.Powered by JazzHR
