Outpatient Therapist

Position Summary: To provide individual and family therapy for children and their families according to intervention strategies approved by Infinite Complete Care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain clinical files by submitting documentations no later than on a weekly basis and ensuring that all paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Provide individual counseling to assigned caseload on a weekly basis. Facilitate family/group therapy session if deemed necessary. Complete all clinical assessments and paperwork such as Biopsychosocial, Master Treatment Plan, CFARS, FARS, Treatment Plan Reviews, and additional documentation at the time requested in the Medicaid handbook. Turn in timesheets weekly and on time along with all completed paperwork that coincides with the timesheet. Monitor and track units approved by the insurance company. Attend monthly meetings when considered necessary. When appropriate renew state license and registered intern status with the Department of Health. Comply with AHCA stipulations for TBOS and Individual Therapy. Ensure that Medicaid is active and the insurance provided has not changed at the beginning of each month. Maintain a Valid Florida Drivers License and car insurance. Be a facilitator between the Infinite Complete Care Staff and Client. Education and/or Experience: Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology or Social Work, plus one year experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children and Adults. Computer skills preferred. Reasoning Ability: To Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. The noise level varies from quiet to moderate to loud. Full Time Status: Employee must produce a minimum of 50 hours biweekly, not to exceed 80 hours biweekly. Overtime is not authorized or compensated unless a written prior approval from your supervisor and Clinical Director is obtained. Part Time Status: Employee must produce a minimum 24 hours biweekly, not to exceed 5 hours per week.
